On February 2, the "Day of Polish Culture" was held at the Tilsit Theater. Residents of Sovetsk got acquainted with various aspects of Polish culture, joined the art of Polish artists and photographers, and also got acquainted with the literature of Polish authors. In addition, thanks to our friends from the College of Technology, a tasting of Polish cuisine was organized, which our guests really liked.
The event ended with a concert consisting of two parts: in the first part, groups from the Kaliningrad region performed - the exemplary choreographic ensemble "Louise", the ensemble of the Polish song "Krulivchane", Anatoly Yarots and Zosia Urbanovich.
In the second part there was an online broadcast of a concert of Polish music "From word to word", organized in the Center of Culture of the city of Elka.
This event was the penultimate in the framework of the international project "Joint cultural cooperation on the Polish-Russian border", implemented within the framework of the Russia-Poland Cross-border Cooperation Program 2014-2020".
